Just out of interest.

I collect Watford ticket home and away from 77/78 on wards and my collection is just under 1,400 different tickets.

I am considering collecting English teams in Europe (home games), as its very seldom I come across a ticket on eBay I actually need for Watford.

I collect Newport County tickets Stuart, have over a thousand home & away since 1946.

I'm quite pleased with that considering precious few tickets were issued for our games between 1989 & 2010, when we were climbing back through the non league pyramid.

Since we reached the BSP in 2010 my collection's had a nice boost though.

I collect County season tickets too, have around fifty.

Always had a weird fascination with tickets - back in the late 70s / early 80s as a nipper, I used to write to our opponents begging for a used ticket whenever they played County - then I discovered girls & beer and the ticket collection hit the skids for a good few years. Smile

I have many Brighton tickets, including the vast majority from their years at Withdean, many of which incidentally are surplus.

I now actually only collect ::

AWAY MATCHES ATTENDED

PRE 99 GOLDSTONE GROUND TICKETS FOR ALL TICKET GAMES

PRE 99 AWAY GAMES ATTEENDED THAT I AM MISSING

FALMER AMEX TICKETS FOR FRIENDLIES ,CUP TIES ,AND INTERNATIONALS.

Sadly being a season ticket holder these games are loaded straight on a card .

I also have many from non brighton games attended over the years, but as many of these were, and in some cases , still are pay on the gate tickets are not issued, mainly NON-LEAGUE.

If there is no ticket given on the game, then I try and see if they do a
Golden Goal or Draw ticket that is dated .as a record of my visit.

The problem here occurs , with Leage clubs,, many do not sell ther draw tickets in the away end, so unless its available outside the ground, or in the shop I cant always add one to my collection.

DOES ANYONE HAVE BRIGHTON AWAY PRE 99 V YOUR CLUB rany wants from brighton homes 1999-2010

I have hundreds of Wednesday tickets. I'm trying to get a full set from 1992/93, obviously it was the first Premier League season, but it was also one of our best seasons in history.

I'm a Newport season ticket holder & like you, it's just a plastic card with a barcode on.
So I don't get issued match tickets for our home games either.

What I always do is ask somebody stood around me in the second-half of games if I can have their ticket - I always get one doing this!!!

Most people actually seem surprised you'd even want it tbh.
lol

I collect Norwich away tickets. I am only missing 35 from 1989 to 2000 and am complete from then to date.

Like some have said very few come up these days so I have started collecting from 1985/86 (my first season) and am missing quite a few to 1989, so if anyone can help chances are I need them!

I never really thought about how many before this post - I collect Liverpool tickets back to 1969 mainly:

League tickets - just over 1000
European tickets 232
Friendlies 46
charity shield 15
Testimonials 24
fa cup matches 180+
league cup matches 160+

As Stuart said earlier it gets harder to find stuff on ebay so I've started on fa cup final tickets also - got 32 of them now.

Not much really in the way of value to be honest apart from a few of the early European homes.
