I bought the above named programme, in excellent condition, with no team line ups written in nor token removed for £53 last week. I know these programmes still turn up fairly regularly, but for one in such good condition I thought I'd got a real bargain at that price - or has it been dropping significantly in price recently and I just haven't picked up on it?

Also, why have the MUFC Youth Cup programmes, minus tokens, from the 60's and 70's been commanding such high prices recently on ebay? I know they're not exactly common, but given their condition, I though some of the prices received were mind boggling.

Does it have a numbered token or is the token without a number?

John, the programme has dropped quite a bit recently, although there have been quite a few with teams filled in, token missing and general bad quality on Ebay.

I think what you paid is about right, on a good day you would make a little bit on it. I would try it at £75 buy it now and hope somebody is attracted by the condition, maybe to replace a worse copy?

John,

I sold one on eBay last year for 55.00. No teams shown and token inside.

It has dropped somewhat in price along with most other programmes.
This is not nor has ever been a rare programme.
A full house, obviously, that night at Old Trafford and everybody took everything(ticket etc) home with them and kept it to remember.
Like people do at cup finals.
You always find a ticket,programme,song sheet,rosette etc
It has never been a rare programme but significant because of the game and has always been sold for more than its rarity value.
It is actually easier to get than league programmes from that season that don't reach a tenner these days.

The youth cup stuff seems to have found 2 or 3 new collectors who are currently fighting for it and paying over the top.
A lot of people with Manchester United programmes have seized the opportunity to get out of their programmes at inflated prices.
I don't know who the new buyers are but they are clearly not on this forum as they would have got killed in the rush by bedroom bandits with "pm sent"

Im suprised it doesnt sell for more, as its one I thought Id never own.

Might save a few pennies and keep an eye out for a good copy now , to treat myself !

Are there reprints floating about , and if so, are there any obvious differences , apart from quality of paper. Thanks.
