Aston Villa Homes 1945 to 1950

I am looking to establish if the Villa home programmes just after the war had covers on them and when did the cover issues commence. I am sure that during the 50's and 60's the programmes were designed to have the cover removed and be bound as a book.

Looking at ebay it would appear that they were 4 page issues up until season 1947-48. Did these have a cover on them?

From 1948-49 they appear to have had a colour cover on them.

Can anyone confirm this please.

From 43-44 to 47-48 it was 4 page with no cover.
48-49 was the first post war season with a cover.

The first year of covers, the cover was a drawing of a player. Thereafter, it became the well known ground scene.
