Stoke v Stockport 91-2 information required.....

I realise that this is not a programme related query per se but believe me,
I've gone down more avenues than German troops in France to try and
unearth the following information...

Season - 1991-2
Game - Stoke v Stockport, Division Three play-off second-leg
Date - Wednesday May 13
Score - 1-1
Scorers - Stein/Beaumont
Teams/subs - Not needed as I have this info already
Wanted - Any detailed match report from this game or any pointers on how to unearth said information

Bearing in mind that these near neighbours would meet four times in 26 days that season
and this game was played just a few days before their FLT clash at Wembley,
something had to give - even in the local press.

I contacted the local rag in Stockport but nothing doing and even the Stoke Sentinel couldn't help -
they had plenty of coverage from the first game when it all kicked-off, plus
with Stoke going out, the pre-Wembley coverage was given priority, ergo
details from the above, were limited to a small blob paragraph.

A message was left on the Oatcake forum but all I got from was a few dumb ass responses on how I should search the web and not pester them, despite saying that I had already done so.

In fact I'd almost worn my fingerprints away from trawling the net but have yet to discover anything from this match.

So if anyone can help, I shall be eternally in your debt - well a pint maybe if you live near enough.
I'm happy to pay for any paper cuttings, photocopying etc, etc.

All Sentinel issues are kept on microfiche in Hanley & Newcastle libraries ,,,,,,its the best source I can think of, Stockport Library probably have simular facelities.
