Football programmes - storage

Hi, was wondering your views on storing my collection of programmes, I have over 700 programmes stored in box files and was wondering if it’s a good idea to store them in the garage. The garage is a new build and doesn’t seem damp at all
Is there anything you recommend to store them in to prevent them getting ruined?

Hi, I can't say a garage would be my first choice for a place for storage. However, if you use self seal plastic bags, the ones with a groove which you press into you will keep the air out (which is the enemy) you should be fine. You can fill the A4 size with smaller items until they are full and find cardboard boxes just slightly bigger, fill them up and then tape up the boxes. It's good for storage, but not so much if you have to have regular access.For me I am only really interested in the programmes I have not got !!

Your problem with that though might be condensation from fluctuating temperatures? Bring 'em indoors.
