It is now safe to let your children stay at Michael Jackson's house overnight, although please be cautious as he is a little stiff. |

Sad noews indeed, especially as he'd added a few more dates to his UK tour, Adam aged 5, Jack aged 6, and Timothy aged 7. |

I bought 4 tickets in total (2 different dates) for the Michael Jackson Tour from ticketmaster.
I had kept 2 for myself and sold the other 2 on ebay for £250 for the pair.
I'm going to be giving my buyer a 100% refund as I wouldn't like to be in his position. Although I won't be sending any money until I recieve my own refund for the 4 tickets from ticketmaster. |

You'll be lucky if they want to sell them back to you as they're probably now worth ten times what they paid for them.
Few years back at a Motown do, Michael Jackson was in a state of excitement as he'd been told he'd be giggin with Boyz2Men, until someone told him they were a band, not a takeaway service. |

Unfortunately no tickets were sent out as you only recieve them 7 days before the concert was due |

Ive been thinking long and hard about posting this.
Now when the Liverpool anniversary came round we were warned about posting anything distasteful or we would be banned.
Now I have my opinions about Hillsbrough and I didnt want to post them even though they are not controversial through fear of getting banned.
Just because nobody has any association with Jacko should we turn a blind eye to the jokes? |

Unfortunately these "jokes" are everywhere. I must have had 10 different ones sent to my mobile. I know this is "Anything Goes" but I can't understand why anyone needs to bother reproducing them on here
Whatever people thought about the man his music helped shape a generation. |

I got to see Jacko at wembley in August 1988, it was nothing short of brilliant, thats how he we should remember him, for his music and showmanship. He was just a big kid at heart, I think we should give the guy a break. |

Jackson lived his life as a fantasy. The jokes have been around for a long time because the guy was basically weird. There's no escaping that. I don't think anybody doubts his musical and dance genius, but all that was 20 years ago now. His life since then has been front page news for all the wrong reasons. Allegations of child abuse, his desire to rid himself of his balck identity (when he could have done so much to empower black people) arranged marriages to enable him to have children (which bear absolutely no resemblance to him) dangling his baby over the hotel balcony upside down, etc. etc.
It's hardly surprising that he's been the subject of ridicule and humour over the last 20 odd years. I sincerely hope that now he's gone perhaps the whole thing about celebrity culture will eventually die away with him.
It's a sick society we live in where we can see such displays of grief for someone that nobody knew personally, only through the media. If only people would show the same concerns for the terrible things that are happening in the likes of Darfur, perhaps the world might be able to right itself? |

Inevitably, the people who exploited Jackson during his life - the media - will continue to do so after his death. They will leave no stone unturned, and the stories will get progressively more lurid until such time that he will be demonised by many.
Lest we forget, this is a man who was very rarely in control of his own emotions because of the various prescription drugs he was addicted to who thought it normal to go to bed with children. And people still venerate him? It's a sad world.... |
