Never felt so nervous over a football game in my life ( i am sure the other Hibees and Jambos that frequent the forum will feel the same)
110 years since we have won the cup and playing our greatest rivals in the final.
Hearts may be favourites but in a derby, form can go out the window.
Think it fair to say that majority of fans from other Scottish teams would like to see Hibs break this incredible hoodoo.
C'mon the Hibees, we can do it Clap

I can't say I'll get much sleep tonight and I only managed to secure tickets on Tuesday. Have looked out my shirt from 2006 and reading through the programme, oh for a Paul Hartley and Craig Gordon. Mind you, Rudi is still there Bow

'mon the Jambo's, lets do it again Easy

Since the 50s I have had a fascination with the two Edinburgh Clubs, and have a good collection of both Club Programmes. When I was a schoolboy I used to send a SAE(twopence-halfpenny stamps) to both Clubs asking for programmes, and neither Club ever let me down and sent me Programmes.I did have a slight leaning to Hibs ,but the Hearts programmes were great too with the Gorgie Giggles cartoons.Other Scottish Clubs were equally generous in complying with my requests,Clyde,Stranraer,Aberdeen,Partick Thistle,Airdreonians,Ayr Utd,and Queens Park I remember sending me items.Lets hope its a great Final, and as always may the best team win! Smile

Has the makings of being a very special game, and despite my misgivings about Hearts being there after they diddled us, hope it's a game that everyone enjoys.
We've got our very own Junior Cup Final next Sunday, think I may have already mentioned this somewhere previously Very Happy and if we beat Shotts we're back into the senior Scottish Cup next season gunning for revenge at Tynecastle, or preferably Beechwood. I do have my own worries about that though as we're in an unusual slump having lost the chance of the double on Monday night when Ashfield kicked our arses 3-0, and Shotts are on an amazing run of form.
Here's hoping......

Nice little story friend, i to used to send the SAE of late fiftys early sixties , the thrill of seeing the returned envalope on
arriving home from school has lived with me to this day , not only prog was sent but on many ocasions a team photo/autograph sheet was included also ,happy days.
Good luck to your team today ,hope you enjoy the game and obtain the result you are looking fore.

Phil.
