Took my son and his mate to Sheffileld Arena last night for the WWE show/extravaganza/pantomime(delete as applicable)

The programme was FIFTEEN QUID

Shocked

Luckily, he realised it was a rip off and didn't buy one. He did part with £25 for a T shirt though Surprised

Curiosity got the better of me and I was able to have a quick flick through the publication - it was total and utter dross.

Whatever we think of modern programmes they will surely never get this exploitative..............................

Went to a Kasabian gig at the same venue a few months back and the programme was a tenner...and no, I didn't buy one either!

It was a colour brochure, no dates or anything, and was bigger than A4 sized.

It was printed on heavy paper, probably 40 pages or so, and seemed to have lots of space filling pictures and very little text.

Definitely aimed at a young readership but at those prices it was clearly aimed at the parents' pockets!

A rip off of WWE proportions!

Agreed mate, Cup final programmes much bigger, but they are like £10 pounds now. England Cricket Progs only a fiver, bout 100 pages.

I always thought football programmes very good value compared to theatre and concert programmes which are utter dross.

I remember wisely investing in one of these when i went in 2002!
I dug it out earlier and had a look and there was no price on it but i think it was £7. Huge programme with no relevance to the tour inside just big pics and a small bio on the wrestlers. Bargain! Thumbs Up
