A programme was issue when Hibs beat Barcelona 3-2 on 22 Feb 1961.

I am lead to believe that Hibs' home leg was due to have been played earlier than the date mentioned but was postponed due to the weather.

Can anyone shed any light on whether there is a postponed issue and if so how rare is it, how often does it come up for sale and what would be a guide price?

A programme was issued for the postponed match. I don't know how rare the 14th December issue is sorry but there is a scan of it here.

It's probably one of the rarest Hibs programmes going. I haven't seen it for sale so can't comment on price.

Luckily I have it. I have never seen it listed on a catalogue, but it was on ebay about 5 years ago. £356 was the winning bid at that time.

I know where there is a programme for the Barcelona v Hibs match away leg for sale at £750. If anybody would like details please pm me. One was sold last week privately for £1000

I think you will find it was not sold at 1k

I was told 1K but it was on ebay at £800 buy it now before it was removed (twice)

I only saw it once at starting at £800 with no buy it now. I wonder if IH had two of them!!!

There was this item number also: 170780655746. I don't think he had two of them at the moment but he has had a few of them in the past. Ian is a member on this site although doesn't visit often. I suppose they are easier to find when, like Ian, you live out in Barcelona where a box full can be bought for 50 euros or less!

No its a Spanish guy who has it, he also has the one against Sheffield Wednesday in 1962 at the same price,

hi to all,1-true i dont always log onto the site as much as i would like and when i do it takes a bit of time catching up on whats been said..
2-no i did not have 2 barca v hibs progs at the same time only the one.
3.took it off ebay as i had a decent offer
4-no you cannot buy a box of barca progs for 50,00 euros although i would like to know where?1980 cossie if you could direct me in the right direction one would appreciate it....
5-like the saying all good thing s come to those who wait..!
i have always said this about barca v british clubs is this the locals were not into the art of programme collecting as the brits then so a hell of a lot of progs were just binned,also taking into account of away fans who travelled to camp nou then were very few and far between,very few progs reached the uk on return.= very rare prog and very expensive.just my opinion. Sherlock
