If money was no object which programme would you most like to acquire?
Mine would definately have to be one of the rarest Everton programmes that is actually in existence and which I have seen for sale twice before.
It is from an away European Tie against a team called Valerengens.
Wed 23rd Sept 1964 - Inter Cities Fairs Cup - 1st Round 1st Leg
I have seen it go once for around £1300 and the second time for £2000! |

1926 FA Cup semi between Swansea and Bolton - don't know how much it's worth but I've never seen it for sale anywhere. Also a geniune copy of our first ever game against Cardiff in 1912, and our first in the league at Portsmouth in 1920. |

This is the one programmme I would never sell.
The Gold Edition of the Inter Milan away in 1963 is also pretty much impossible to obtain (available to VIPs only) ..... So i suppose thats two I'd never part with.
One programme I would like ...... I'll have to have a think. |

I saw the Gold Edition on eBay about 2 months back for £100 and no-one bid on it. I thought it was either a fake or just misprinted as I had never heard of the gold edition before! Wish i would of bought it now!
How much is it generally worth? |

Probably the Carlisle United v Middlesbrough fire issue from 72/3. I've only seen it for sale once and it went for over £400. _________________ Regards,

Not too sure as I've only ever seen one other copy and it went for over 500 at auction. |

For me it would have to be the Amateur cup final programme from 1931 Wycombe Wanderers V Hayes @ Highbury, Seen two on ebay in the last couple of years and they both went for just over 200 quid each. I guess thats peanuts compared to some of the above programmes prices, but thats the good thing about collecting a small clubs progs. |

The programme I would most like is 1946 Wolves Reserves v Nottingham Forest Reserves. Not that I know if it is particularly expensive or not, just that it was the first game I ever went to at the molineux as a scrawny 9 year old. |

Now this is a tough one. Obviously lots from the pre-war era, but if I had to pick five (if there were issues of course for the first two - I think Chelsea first issued in 1904 so who knows)...
1880-1 Darwen v Romford (FACQF)
1884-5 Blackburn v Romford (FAC4)
1905-6 Romford v New Crusaders (FAACQFRR @ Chelsea)
1932-3 Bristol City v Romford (FAC1)
1937-8 Romford v Erith & Bel (FAACSFR @ Crystal Palace) |

Fair point, but at least you know that exists and does tend to come up quite a lot and fetch a premium price too.
I used to work with a guy who had the away semi prog from that year (in Portugal?), plus a few others from the run too.. Oldham fan oddly enough.. |

Favourite programme - When the Boat comes in, with James Bolam as Jack Ford the unorthodox union official. Got it for nothing 'cos a friend videoed the whole collection for me. Am I on the wrong site? |
