While watching a great win over Brentford the commentator pointed out that this is the best start to a season by any English team since Chelsea in 2006.

Only Hull have beaten us this season and that was at the KC after extra time.

Is anyone else as surprised as I am at Orient's form?

What are your thoughts on Orient getting promoted will the fade away like Tranmere last season?

Good on em I say, hope they stay there all season. And then next season they'll have a local derby against West Ham.

Saw the result last night, the O's are absolutely on fire aren't they.

I still remember Reading's record-breaking start in 1985/86, I think they won their first twelve on the bounce - I was at the one that broke the record, that 12th match when they beat us 2-0 at Somerton Park.

I accidentally appeared on Grandstand that day, whilst inadvertently bumping into Ian Branfoot before the game while he was being interviewed at the back of the main stand. Laughing

(I had a few on board!)

Wonder if the O's can match that blistering Reading start?

After all its in their borough (I think)

Reading won 13 in a row.

To be honest Brentford were the better team and should have been leading at half time but 2nd half we picked up got a penalty then as they pushed on battman finished them off.

Considering we only have 16 senior pros (1 on loan) and 5 youth players (1 on loan), I still can't believe the run we're on.

Even after our start I would bite your hand off for a place in the play offs.

12, 13, whatever.
It was still impressive.

I've had a few jars since then.

I'd love to see the O's repeat that.
