I know it's early, but Palace have made it to the Premier League, and I can't wait!

Don't expect there to be any badges at Selhurst, but will be trying to get to all the Premiership away games, so hopefully lots of badges to collect!

If anyone wishes to PM me contacts, they are more than welcome, otherwise, will I revisit this thread in August!

(PS - Anyone making match badges, please note the Palace crest has been changed for next season - thanks!)

Thanks Dave, lovely message. I'm just going to have a good look at your site now. I too am a bit of a completist when it comes to match badges - I believe I have every single Palace match badge ever made (really) so really keen to keep that up for our year in the sun.
cheers
David

At Old Trafford most of the badge sellers are down Warwick Road and on Wharfside Way.

And of course they always appear on ebay a couple of days after the game.

This one is particularly special in my opinion (the away team is Arsenal)

LIVERPOOL

below = Liverpool 'official' match badge "Matchday at Anfield" for this season

It is £3 and available from about 50% of the stalls around the ground, or also from the club shop (but expect the club shop to sell out early on matchday). The club shop also sell Half and Half scarves, mugs, T shirts and pennants, presumably to all the 'first game' foreign tourists that attend.

At the Liverpool-Palace game, there were other badges around too.

There are 4 badges in this pic (not my best photo I admit) - the two oval ones were from a roving seller (2 for £5) who wasn't doing much 'roving' and seemed to be happy staying put right by the Paisley gates (behind the Kop). The official one (£3) is in the bag with the LFC hologram, and can be bought from about half the stalls, plus the club shop if you're quick, and the other one (with the Premiership trophy in the centre) was on about a quarter of the stalls (£3)
are

2 months after the game, the complete set of 4 variants of one of the badges suddenly appeared on ebay - luckily I won it (it was the last set)

This season's Stoke home matchbadges. As usual a great design.

EVERTON

This wasn't on sale in the club shop, but has their official merchandise hologram on it so I'd say it was official even if it's only on sale on stalls around the ground, as it is licensed merch.

And then a couple of weeks later, this variation appears on ebay!

Not complaining, always up for colourway variations!

Yes, Everton is official.

Man Utd

There may others out there - possibly a corporate (although it appears this season the corporates are getting a plaque rather than a pin badge)

I did get a bit bored trawling the numerous stalls as 90% of the stalls sell the same thing

Hull

Seller at the entrance to the park (in which the ground is situated) £3 each, 4 colour variations. The 4th variation is always the visiting teams colours, this colourway does not always make it on to ebay if they sell out on the day - only 15 are made in the visiting teams colours

WEST BROM

Badge A (kits) - 1 colourway. £3 each.
Badge B (crests) - 2 colourways, but glass fronted £3 each or 2 for £5

both from the stalls immediately in front of the ground on the Birmingham Road (outside the boarded up pub and former Throstles Club)

A recent proliferation of 'undated' match badges. I guess the attraction for the seller being that if they don't sell them this year, then they can try again next year (assuming the same teams play each other again)
