They really get on my tits

The Latest one was £1.99 POST FREE Shocked

Hello

Thank you for the prompt delivery of my football card. Unfortunately it wasn't what I expected. I thought the auction was for a pack of cards containing all the stoke city players from the 1950s. I was a little surprised when only one came. I have re-read the listing and it does say playing card on the listing but it doesn't say only one card which if I had seen this I wouldn't have bid or at least I would have asked for Stanley Matthews. This was meant for a birthday present and I thought it was a wonderful idea to have a pack of playing cards. I appreciate that I may have assumed it was a pack but as the "s" was missing off the item listing I didnt' spot this.

I just wanted to let you know as I am rather disappointed and obviously one card is not really a good gift.

WELL PAY MORE THAN £1.99 post free for a gift you tight git

I think it is highly unprofessional and inappropriate that you have published a private message on this forum.

This isn't the first instance I am aware of that you have treated you buyers with contempt.

You posted it in the public domain, my initial point was it has nothing to do with anyone keep it to yourself.

What has publicly demeaning someone got to do with collecting?

Please don't confuse questioning your unprofessional practices as moaning they couldn't be more different.

Not quite sure what bazza is trying to achieve with this one. Like drvonshineck said, if it's got nothing to do with anyone else, then why post it on a public forum? Bizarre.

The way I see it is, The buyer has made a mistake and made an unjust complaint.
Bazza has came on here and let off steam in frustration instead of letting the buyer have it both barrels. I've done the same myself and will continue to do so until such things are banned. It is very frustrating at times dealing with some buyers and sellers on ebay. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a good old moan about it.

Looks to me like Bazza has just got it off his chest, done nothing wrong. I read more than I post on here and i've seen the same from other members elsewhere when they see something they don't like, can't have it acceptable for 1 and not others. He's not named anyone so no-one knows who he's talking about.

For what its worth, I sympathise with him as I have it myself, same thing when customers don't read a listing properly and then complain blaming the seller for their mistake.

I think we have all had a moan about someone with have had dealings with on eBay, I know I have on many occasions. It keeps the forum fresh and lets us exchange experiences so we learn from mistakes.
The fault here is with the buyer. If I was in her/his shoes I would have been disappointed with myself for not reading the sale properly.
I once bought a programme I already had in my collection , all because the seller had a photo not of the cover but the team pages. As I didn't recognise it, I bought it.
Now should I have wrote to the seller to complain he didn't have a photo of the cover ? No, of course not , it was my stupid fault.

Sounds to me that the 'customer' needs to take responsibility for his own actions!

Had a similar problem with a part for a car some years ago - I listed the part number, type and everything else that was relevant - when he got it he decided that it wouldn't fit! What more can a seller do - got bad feedback as well for my troubles.......................hey ho there are some right prats out there Mr T

Well thanks to some members for giving me support, as stated i did not name names and just wanted to get something off my chest.
I sent the moaner a photograph of Stanley Matthews for free as i didnt want to attract bad feedback.

Some people get fed up of seeing Flicker posts, and the Orient collector you can get most of your wants on Ebay so buy them and stop trying to get them on here for free.

It takes all sorts of posts to make a forum, its no good having a 1,000 members if people are spoiling for a fight to members who do post Read It
