I'm soon to move out into my first house and I'm wondering how the conversation will play out when I need to find a space to put my programme collection in the new house.

How do your other halves react to your collection? Is it a constant nagging point or are they surprisingly tolerant?

I'm sure I can have a corner of the box room to put them in Very Happy

If you have to go on an open forum and ask strangers where you should allocate space in your own home because a woman may get a little umpty then indeed you may just have more issues you think Laughing

Tell her its them or you as you hold the front door ajar! haha

Sounds like you wear the trousers in your relationship...
...underneath your apron and if she lets you! Laughing

Your programme collection is part of you. Tell her to deal with it in the same way that you will deal with her shoes etc!

My wifes ok with my collection.
If any new programmes arrive through the letterbox I say with a big grin, "It's an investment for when we retire darling".

Good luck!

It's surprising how much of your collection you can fit into a box room! Managed to get all but 7 shoeboxes of modern Derby programme in, home and away. Anything older will fit fine in the bookcase, but at some point I may have to consider whether I'll have space for current season...
