I STARTED UP A CLUB SHOP AT CRAWLEY TOWN IN OLD SOUTHERN LEAGUE DAYS AT TOWN MEAD IN 1990 AND CONTINUED TO RUN THE SHOP UNTILL OUR ELEVATION INTO THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE WHEN I WAS DEEMED NOT AS APPEALING TO CUSTOMERS AS YOUNG FEMALES, I COULD HAVE WALKED AWAY, HOWEVER DUE TO ENCOURAGEMENT FROM COLLECTORS I WAS PERSISTENT IN STAYING ON AND SELLING PROGRAMMES MAINLY FROM A TABLE !!! I NOW HOWEVER HAVE COMPLETED A SEASON WITH MY OWN PORTACABIN SITUATED IN THE CAR PARK BERWEEN THE HOME END AND THE REDZ BAR. THE CABIN HAS BEEN VERY VERY WELL RECEIVED BY SUPPORTERS, AND IT HAS BEEN GREAT SWAPPING FOOTBALL STORIES WITH VISITING SUPPORTERS AND AT SAME TIME OFFERING FOR SALE THEIR CLUBS PROGRAMMES. PROGRAMME SHOPS ARE VERY RARE WITHIN THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE COMPARED WITH NON LEAGUE. IN OUR DIVISION THIS SEASON I HAVE COME ACROSS ONE AT WALSALL FC(KEITH BOUGH) AND CREWE (HAROLD FINCH) AND I AM TOLD THERE WAS ONE AT DONCASTER WHICH I MISSED WHEN THERE. AND OF COURSE THERE IS JOHN CHAPMAN AT DAGENHAM.
THE PURPOSE OF MY RAMBLING'S ARE TO INFORM ANY SUPPORTER VISITING CRAWLEY THAT I AM THERE(LOOK FORWARD TO WOLVES FANS NEXT SEASON !!!) PLUS IF ANY MEMBER KNOWS OF ANY OTHER SHOP THEN PERHAPS A SHOP INDEX CAN BE SOURCED.

Good idea I think. But please stop using Capital Letters . It upsets quite a few people. It's very annoying Cheers

Well worth a visit, I spent a good 30 minutes in there talking to you when I was down with Carlisle in mid week a month or two ago.

There's a long standing thread on the non league forum that lists hundreds of grounds, both league and non league, who have club shops.
