Dan.
Would it be possible to divide us up into divisions of 20 or so each so there could be promotion and relegation?
Would make it a bit more fun for those of us that are crap at predicting. (I mean me, I was 32nd after all)
Not sure how much extra work this would mean for you, so say no if it's too much extra.

Cheers Jamie.

Easy Shocked

I'm really surprised, I'm usually awful at these!

Just want to echo what everyone else has said though and say thanks very much for all the work you've put in on this, very much appreciated, Dan.

I have done this before - it's a lot more work but I could arrange a permanent League (round-robin) I spose, at least within a forum, where people will badger each other and remember to do their predictions. In fact it wouldn't be as much work if we got a round number of people involved.

A lot of people are happy enough to just play week in week out (60-150 depending on interest) and if they forget one it's no big deal. Even not being particularly lucky/good is ok cos once in a while someone has a good week.

Another long since gone league I used to be in did individual leagues for Rovers and City fans. Then the top 4 from each year were put forward into a cup comp the following season which for obvious reasons was called the Champions league.
You could always run your Everton league and this one seperatly and then put the best 8 or more if you want into the Champ league the following year.

But please don't go with this or any other suggestion if it's too much hassle.

Cheers Jamie.

The hassle comes from, mostly, reminding people on different forums they have to put their scores in (often 3-4-5 times in some lazy people's cases) and then posting your rivals scores all over the place - unless those that remember think it's worthwhile to play a non-attendee. If it's 4 forums and emailers that's a lot more work than I want to do. But if it's (say) 14 people playing each other 3 times (39 "games") a season on one forum then that can easily be arranged. In fact I'll do that as part of the regular event.

So sign up!!!!!! (see new posting on the Tipster Forum)

I would say don't remind people as it's so much extra work for you. If you don't post you loose, tough.
And I know I forgot a couple of times myself so I will have to be carefull.
