Well it goes without saying we'd all like our own team to win it's own league.. or get promoted etc.

I wonder perhaps who everyone's alternative preferences are in the different leagues starting next season. Either you have a fancy or a particular team you like..

For me I suspect a lot of people are a bit fed up of the hegemony in the PL and are perhaps hoping that someone breaks into the top 4.

I will nominate - like I said you can't pick your own team (and I know Robbo won't pick West Ham):

PL: Arsenal
Ch: no preference but I fancy Boro and West Brom to bounce back along with perhaps Sheff Utd.
D1: Tranmere (also Carlisle)
D2: Port Vale (but it won't happen). Maybe Burton might go well.
BSq: Salisbury (where I lived for 10 years)
SPL: Hearts
Other leagues/overseas: if you want to nominate

You can make sensible suggestions for relegation if you so wish - although keep it impersonal: I rather think Pompey will struggle this year given their current turmoil, not that I have any reason to want this - there seem to be 8-9 candidates in the PL you could sensibly nominate for relegation!

Conference - Mansfield as they are local

Conference North - Blyth Spartans, have a soft spot for them and their fans are a top set of lads

Conference south - Worcester, They should have been in the North anyway, its a great place for a drink and have another great set of fans

Unibond Prem - Anyone other than the plastic, arrogant ar$eholes from FC United of Bury... Horrible ba$tards all of them, think they invented non league football and cant see the irony of buying success at this level. They make me cringe just thinking about them

BG Prem - Nuneaton, had many a good laugh and drink with Nuneaton fans.

Ryman prem - not bothered, southern shandy drinkers the lot of em

I'm liking your choice Very Happy

I'll go with;

Winners;
Prem - Chelsea
Cha - Bristol City
Lg 1 - Leeds
Lg 2 - Shrewsbury
SPL - Celtic

Relegation;
Prem - Hull
Cha - Scunthorpe
Lg 1 - Exeter
Lg 2 - Crewe
SPL - Motherwell (beat tonight by Llanelli, a part-time Welsh team who were so confident in NOT getting a result, they requested the 1st leg was moved to Wales as they thought they wouldn't get a big crowd in after getting heavily beat in the 1st leg!!! - that's true, Motherwell are utterly useless, an embarrassment to Scottish football Sad )

I'd also like to add for the SPL relegation, possibly Falkirk or Kilmarnock, depending who they bring in and lose before the window closes.

League 1: Gills (Gotta support your local team)
League 2: Scunthorpe (had to be a loser in the playoff final but hope they come up)

Think I'm gonna have a "United" punt on

Man Utd 7/4
Sheff Utd 14/1
Leeds Utd 7/2
Bury (where FC United of Manchester play) 14/1

Do a Lucky 15 and get a bonus if all correct!

JonnyP - Wolves for relegation......Im disappointed in you matey.

BTW apologies to any forest fans for putting them into league 1, I was talking to a Forest fan on the phone at the time and not exactly concentrating on what I was doing. I would like tranmere to win L1, but I dont think they will.

Sorry mate but depends on who you sign. Might change my mind if you get a few good signings between now and the start of the season
