Superb attacking batsman was our Ted, shame he somewhat ruined his reputation when he was in charge of the national team, all that looking at stars muck.

I believe he could definately have made a professional golfer , as you say Phil, he weren`t a bad hand at the game, as opposed to my own scuffing & chopping up of a golf course, i`m in awe of anyone who is "scratch"

Last bloke i had a chat with who had a 'name'?... Vinnie Jones, i guess, right nice bloke, good laugh & didn`t at any moment even look like crushing me 2 veg. Very Happy

Martin Clunes was another recently but alas, i`ve never got a camera at hand to prove it!! (No doubt he`s saying the same thing about meeting me)

Michael Caine in John Bell & Croyden chemists in London (near Harley street) really nice fella who, despite not wanting to be noticed was quite happy to chat to me for 10 minutes or so.

Actually its a great place to 'Celeb spot' (it is opposite my works head office)and I am guaranteed to see at least 1 famous person per day there, never felt the need to stalk any of them except for Michael Caine though.

I see a 1960s/70s Forest legend on a regular basis.... Its my girlfriend's dad

Lawro, last week

Many others over time from Sir John Gielgud to politicians, many Everton footballers here and there (not just at the ground!)

Related to a (late) famous comedian and TV star and ultra famous English rock star (A.... M...ys) so it's not a major thing for me!
