What a bizarre comment from Mancitymark?
Maybe he also needs to spell correctly. |

Man City Mark... Its all about respect and not profit. My families grave is in Witton Cemetary Birmingham and nearby is the grave of Archie Hunter the once great Scotland + Villa player from the 19th century.
Villa are my rivals but i still clear up his headstone and i have even put photo's of Archie Hunter on there.
Another family graveyard nearby is the body of Tommy Ball once of Aston Villa who was shot by his neighbour in 1923 |

Clear off Bazza-its our week-you can post your own stuff from tomorrow! hahaa
Here on a windswept miserable day is a scene from Old Trafford early on in the day before the crowds turned up to stand in silence before the Munich Memorial and the second image shows the banner in the Stretford End that says it all with 73,000 out of the 75,000 applauding

I wonder how the families would feel knowing there loved ones resting places were having there pictures taken and posted on the Internet and more to the point what kind of person would take them without a seconds thought.
Some very strange cookies on here.
Bizarre !!! |
Id be more worried about the high levels of vermin who fill your ground and celebrate the munich air disaster..
Funny how all these blues say there from Manchester yet also love the fact and indeed produced t-shirts celebrating that Old Trafford was bombed during the Manchester blitz when many mancunians were lost...
Now that is strange, gloryfing death....and its been going on for decades..

Remember Bitter means Bitter full stop-anyway don't get too concerned he is from Milton Keynes wherever that is, other side of Stockport turn left and 200 miles on the right |

Manchesterunitedman1 and treble99, you are completely wasting your time trying to defend United.
If it`s not criticising photographing our heroes graves, it`s slating off our adored manager.
If it`s not questioning where United fans live (recent poll indicated 170,00 live in Manchester) it`s trying to tell us that our history`s not important so therefore United`s :
19 x League Titles
11 x FA Cups
4 x League Cups
3 x European Champions Club Cups
2 x World Club Championships
1 x European Cup Winners Cup
1 x European Super Cup
19 x Charity Sheilds..........
are totally irrelevant !!
Also United`s success which has grown from poverty, disasters, investment in youth, a belief in family values, great managers playing football which attracted a worldwide following of millions instead of just being given a pot of gold to buy instant success is something which enrages certain individuals to the point of bitter hatred.
So yes, you`re completely wasting your time ! |

55 years today since the great Duncan Edwards passed away at just 21
By small coincidence Phil Jones's 21st birthday today too
Reasonable knowledge for a Leeds United supporter! (Anorak) _________________ For a daily feed of football nostalgia please click on the link to view my Twitter page on your PC - https://twitter.com/MemorabiliaMal |

Thanks for the informative comments and just putting in perspective how young the great Duncan Edwards was.
I`ve heard it said that Sir Matt Busby at the end of training used to ask his players to practice what they weren`t very good at........
Duncan Edwards used to go home !
Nice to see positive comments from a Leeds fan. At the end of the day all the genuine supporters/collectors on this forum are a bit anorakish.
Also I am lucky enough to remember the great Leeds side of the early 1970`s whose memory will live on forever. Unfortunately, my missus can also remember them and I have to accept that she is actually a Leeds fan ! |
