Normally, I'm not too bad at recognising clubs' grounds from old photos but this one has really stumped me.
Definitely British (see "half time scoreboard"- but that strange floodlight contraption behind the goal?
Photo was taken circa 1964
Hills behind suggest South Wales??
Anyone any ideas??

Don't think it's Clyde......Shawfield had a dog track round it as well and don't see any evidence of that.

I think it's Cowdenbeath, which has a track for stock car racing. Think this is what they strange floodlights are for.

Central Park, Cowdenbeath is a good shout, those hills in the background also lend some evidence to this.

Cowdenbeath sounds cpnceivable - though I thought the terracing was further back from the pitch than that.
Didn't they still play in striped shirts back then, though?
