Some of the away allocation for the teams in that league is less than 100 |

Think I'll pop down to Borough Briggs to see how they get on against Elgin, should be interesting. |

Like others have been saying, the financial benefits when Rangers travel away will be felt by all the clubs in those lower divisions. Will be an interesting journey. |

Will be multi subscribing to a season's home and away programmes if that facility's available. Can anyone else see an easier way to make easy money without leaving the comfort of your seat? |

You over estimate the ability of minor Scottish clubs to think differently to how they've always done, and you've underestimated the effect this will have in Scotland - or Rangers, in particular. |

It's not too bad. Will be a shot in the arm for fans. Lots of places to visit never dreamed of. Instead of the same stale boring " old firm game" every month, trips to tiny clubs and sell out programmes. Sunderland played in the Third Division once and looking back was full of happy memories. But the secrect is, not to hang around too long like Leeds . |

Will some of the smaller grounds in Div 3 be able to cope?
I remember when FCUM first started, a lot of the games were moved to larger grounds to accommodate all the fans. |

Everyone seems to think that it doesn't seem likely that they will stay in the 3rd for too long, but with all those players leaving the sinking ship, and in effect a new team, you never know ! |

You'll definitely get a game, but you'll have to wear a jumper or something which you can take off to put down for a goal post. |

It's not over until the fat lady sings though. The administrators from the SFA (who disgracefully abrogated their responsibility in dealing with this issue) and the SPL are running around like scalded cats trying to patch up some scabby little affair called SPL2, that Rangers could be invited to join!
This would mean two Premier Leagues, albeit the product on display in the current SPL is fairly poor / utter crap, with promotion and play offs to ensure Rangers get back at the first attempt so that Murdoch isn't unhappy. It's really tawdry, and all it means is prostituting sporting integrity, for financial well being. It will also probably be the death knell of the clubs outside of the SPL's 1 and 2. Remember, Rangers - along with Celtic - always determined the amount of money everybody else could get from television was far lower than anything the Old Firm could get, and now the SPL and SFA are moving heaven and earth to try and get them back. You really couldn't script anything more grubby.
I suppose there will be the inevitable talk again of a Pyramid structure in Scottish football, as it tries to reinvent itself yet again. Of course, it will say it's for the good of the game - which is utter pish of course. If that happens, and my team were to become part of a disgraced organisation, that would be when I start watching proper amateur football or take up knitting. |
