FA Cup 3rd 4th place play off, one of those strange ideas that turn up now and again. Any rare programmes amongst this lot ?
10 April 1970. Manchester United v Watford 2–0 Highbury. (15,105).
7 May 1971. Stoke City v Everton 3–2 Selhurst Park. (5,031)
5 August 1972. Birmingham City v Stoke City 0–0 (4–3 pens) St Andrew's.(25,841) ( first fa cup game decided on pens)
18 August 1973.Wolverhampton Wanderers v Arsenal 3–1. Highbury. (21,038)
9 May 1974.Burnley v Leicester City 1–0. Filbert Street.4,000

I dont know about the others but the Wolves v Arsenal can be picked up for penuts.

the manu v watford one is £3-£4 and the arsenal v wolves is a couple of quid.

On another point what bright spark in the FA though it a good idea for Stoke and Everton to play at Selhurst Park in 1971. Hardly a surprise that only 5 thousand attended.

talk about putting the boot in. Not only do they lose a cup semi final, they are made to play a meaningless 3rd place play off. If this were to happen nowadays i think the Wengers and the Fergies would be so outraged they would probably play the under 12s.

The Leicester v. Burnley isn't particularly rare and comes up now and then. £2-3.

Just brought the Arsenal v Wolves one for 18 August 1973 for £4.

Was keen to get this one as it was the first Wolves match that I attended!
