I am currently selling off my collection and wondered if any of the following programmes are worth anything ?

1986 Official Programme - Northern Ireland Edition
1986 Group B Game Mexico v Paraguay
1986 World Cup Final Argentina v West Germany

The Mexico v Paraguay is a bit tatty but the other two are in good nick.

Cheers

Confused about the 86 World Cup match issues, I went to the tournament and the only official issues were the tournament programme and a seperate tournament brochure issued with a white cover where the proceeds went to the earthquake disater fund, apart from those i managed to sniff out a press guide issued by Uefa. No individual match programmes were issued, unless you can prove me wrong that is.

Scan would be welcome to the forum, thanks

Can't remember where I got them from mate but all I can say is that both programmes are a single sheet folded into three ,in Spanish, Glossy paper. I can give more details if anyone knows what it is ? I think I bought it off a reputable dealer but I honestly don't remember too much about it !

Sounds like Banca Serfin issues. Fold over sheets with team lineups. Pretty basic. Semi official IMO as produced by a local sponsor.

These were produced for some games in Mexico including the final. None for Northern Ireland games afaik and I'm not aware of any for England games. No idea re Scotland either.

I've only ever seen the final but know they were produced for some early games.

The Northern Ireland brochure is quite common only a couple of quid afaik.

I don't know re the Banca Serfin issues but I believe they are quite scarce and would expect the final to make 3 figures. I don't recall the dealers having them at the time and mine came from a fan at the game but he didn't get spares of any of the others he attended.

Mexico v Paraguay is still collectable as a world cup game although neither country is.

ebay is your best bet for these.

On further thought I think he only saw them in Mexico City so possibly they were only done for games there. It is possible they exist then for England v Paraguay and Argentina but I don't know. I would imagine the England ones would have appeared though so if none are known by England collectors then it is unlikely they were done.

I would class these as a programme as they have team lineups, were officially sanctioned although I appreciate it is open to debate and some would disagree.

Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated.
I wish I could remember where I got the two Banca Serfin ones. If it was a dealer it would probably have been Steve Earle programmes as at the time I bought pretty much exclusively from him.
