Old Players medals Question

I have in my collection a number of old players medals going back to the 1890's.

I have a couple from the 70's and one from the 50's (solid gold and enamel) where the enamel is damaged/chipped. Does anyone know of any individual or company who can repair them?

Secondly, some of the older ones, and one in particular from 1891 (again, solid gold) are very dull and tarnished. Should I put them into a jewelers or similar and have them polished? Or is it better to leave them as they are??? What's the etiquette regards old players medals?

Any help or advice much appreciated.
