Hi need help , trying to send pm's but they are staying in my outbox and not going into my sent box . Any help please . Finspin

I believe they stay in your out box until the person you sent the pm reads it, then hey presto it becomes a sent item

Yep, I can confirm that that's how they work. I suppose it's just to let you know whether it's been read yet or not.
