Help identifying rare 1920s photo

Hope some clever sole can help here. I have just bought an old press photo laid down on old board. It is a photo depicting ayoung Duke of Windsor, the kit suggests it's 1920's, but I've looked at all the teams in 20's finals and early 30's and there aren't any with stripes and black shorts, other than Newcastle, and it's not black & white stripes, as far as I can see. However the crowd isn't huge in the background so maybe it is an amateur final. What is all the more bizarre is that some players have odd socks and the prince has his arm in a sling! I've seen a couple of pictures from Prince Edward's visit to New Zealand in 1920 where he apparently attended a football match - although I couldn't see a sling.

Thanks juanjo any idea what the football strip looked like? The team I have wear striped shirts dark shorts and socks.

Only saw one team and looked like a dark shirt (poss blue) no stripes.
