I can never understand why people think that a printing error, makes a programme more valuable. Unless of course , the error is spotted early on and the printing is then corrected. Therefore , meaning a few may have got into circulation with the error. Otherwise, a massed produced programme is a massed produced programme, mistake or no mistakes.

I'd like to think I know of most of Wednesdays variants. I can confirm I've never seen this dated 23rd. I'd love to be proved wrong since it would be another programme I'd need and I could spend time searching for it. I'm sure the Man U collectors appreciate playing Wednesday in the forth round of the fac in 1961 as well as the fourth round.

I have a few Everton programmes with errors - missing pages, wrong dates etc. Definitely worth having I'd say.

Wullie - I agree with you, if they were all produced like that it is no more or less rare than it would otherwise have been.
If they spotted the mistake and rectified it during printing then that makes it more rare. But how many were printed like this 10? 100? 1000? 5000? That's what will make all the difference to rarity/value.
