Having had a very quiet Sunday and whilst struggling for something to do it came across me that I should try and complete my collection of Football League Reviews. Heres my wants (excluding Soccer Review)

Vol1: Need any BUT 1, 7, 31, 33 and 38
Vol2: Need 33
Vol3: Need 16, 20, 21, 24, 29, 32, 34
Vol4: Need 40B (?), 401, 405, 406, 408, 412, 413, 414, 415, 416, 417, 418, 420, 421, 423, 426, 429, 430, 431, 434, 436, 437, 438, 439
Vol5: Need 501, 503, 504, 507, 508, 511, 517, 518, 520, 521, 523, 524, 527, 530, 532, 536, 538, 539
Vol6: Need 601, 604, 605, 619, 621, 627, 630, 631, 639
Vol7: Need 70B (?), 701, 703, 706, 711, 716, 719, 721, 722, 735, 738, 739
Vol8: Need 807, 808, 809, 811, 815, 816, 817, 818, 819, 820, 822, 823, 825, 826, 827, 828, 832, 834, 836, 837, 838, 839 and
Vol9: Need 903, 907, 908 and any from 911 onwards

I have a big box of spares, not that I can imagine anyone wants them, but will swap 10 for 1 or pay reasonable price for any available

I also collect Football League Reviews. I'm off to work soon, but when I return home this evening I will have more time to have a look at the duplicates I have.

Some of the volumes didn't have a 'x39' issue, so there may be a couple you can take off your list.

I'll reply to this thread again this evening.

I too have many spares, and can check wants list ONLY if emailed to [email protected]

are collectors aware of variations in several issues, mainly 2 versions of the back cover, a list of known such issues can be had by emailing the above email, and NOT THROUGH THIS FORUM

I also collect the Football League Reviews and can help you fill a few gaps with some of my spares.

However Burnley Collector was the first to reply to your post, so let me know if there are any gaps left after he has helped you.

Is it just me, or does anyone find the tone of this post a bit strange?

Why are wants lists ONLY checked if they are e-mailed? Why can I only discover that there are 2 versions of certain issues if I e-mail, and why can't this be discussed on this forum?

Okay - here is as much as I know re. Football League Reviews:

Volume 1 - there were 38 issues in total - numbered 1 to 38 inclusive

Volume 2 - there were 39 issues in total - numbered 1 to 39 inclusive

Volume 3- there were 39 issues in total - numbered 1 to 39 inclusive

Volume 4 - there were 39 issues in total - 35 of them numbered from 401 to 435 inclusive, plus 4 midweek issues marked 40A, 40B, 40C and 40D that appeared at various times during the season

Volume 5 - there were 40 issues in total - 38 of them numbered from 501 to 538 inclusive, plus 2 midweek issues marked 50A and 50B that appeared at various times during the season

Volume 6 - there were 40 issues in total - 38 of them numbered from 601 to 638 inclusive, plus 2 midweek issues marked 60A and 60B that appeared at various times during the season

Volume 7 - there were 40 issues in total - 38 of them numbered from 701 to 738 inclusive, plus 2 midweek issues marked 70A and 70B that appeared at various times during the season

Volume 8 - there were 37 issues in total - 35 of them numbered from 801 to 835 inclusive, plus 2 midweek issues marked 80A and 80B that appeared at various times during the season

Volume 9 - there were 20 issues in total - numbered from 901 to 920 inclusive.

Unfortunately, I have realised that I sold a load of Football League Reviews a couple of months ago - they would have made a real dent in your 'wants' list!

I only have the following now as duplicates:

Volume 1 - issue numbers 13, 18 and 30

I agree with Burnley_collector here, I find the tone and seemingly strict orders a bit strange to say the least. Needless to say I would avoid dealing with anybody who makes DEMANDS like this as a point of concern and out of principal. Maybe you have your reasons.

The reason I ask this is because I have Parkinsons which means that one of my handicaps is the affect on my writing.

I find it easier to have requests by email, as I can print a copy off and check it from there, rather than getting my carer to write long lists down for me .

please be aware of things like that before criticising, its not that difficult surely to send an email as requested.
