just received the holy grail of away tottenham league programmes from the double season. The Bolton away.

About a week ago i noticed an auction Bolton programme 1960s with a buy it now price of £30 very newly listed up. Because i search descriptions as well i figures it must have stated tottenham or spurs on it somewhere and the picture looked like it could possibly be the 1960/1 programme but hey i thought id open it on the off chance it could be not actually expecting it to be.

And there it was in the description "v tottenham 7/9/1960"

so i snapped it up quicker than hummingbird can flap its wings.

Ive been holding me breathe for a whole week coming home from work hoping it would have dropped through the letter box opening up all letter hoping it was the one. And there it was today

I couldnt wipe the smile off my face reading it through tonight. Its Practically mint apart from one team change and score neatly noted on back. Score of the Century. Isnt that what collecting is all about. Makes it feel so worth while.

I have a programme for EVERY match I've ever been to, except one which was Bashley v Portsmouth, a preseason friendly I went to in 1994 with my cousin. I have benn looking for the programme for 16 years and tried everywhere and even contacted Bashley FC to see if they had the programme. Their programme shop didnt have it so I thought it was a lost cause.

Then a couple of months ago I thought I'd Google the fixture and up popped an eBay listing of a programme from the very game! It hadnt been sold so I emailed the bloke who was selling it, explained it was a personal reason why I needed the programme and offered him a fiver. It turned up in the post 2 days later and was a black and white 16 page programme! So delighted that I now have a programme for well over 300 games!

I just get a box of 300 Næstved programmes from 1980 to 1996...

The Best of them...

Næstved - KB from 1980, Næstved lost the championship if that game.

There was also some rare toto cup games in the games and ne uefa cup home game...

Everton v Leeds 51-2 in perfect order for £15 (was on offer at Preston Fair for £35). Now need just a handful from 1950-2 to have 60 years worth of homes.
