Reports on the death of football memorabilia fairs have been greatly exaggerated.
Yesterday's Essex Retro Football Show at the Country Ground in Chelmsford was by far the best-attended yet.
Boosted by the addition of the 30th Anniversary Corinthian Convention in a second room and the most amazing special guest in Steve Perryman, the estimates across the two rooms was of around 300 attendees over the duration of the event.
That's more than double any event I've put on before so the pressure is on for the next one!
