Peter's family have asked me to let the Football collecting world Of Peter Holtoms passing on 12th May. Peter was one of the old vanguard. produced Prog cataologues in the 70's & 80's and a much awaiteed bdge catalogue on the 90's, an keen member of the collecting community whom regulary attended fairs over many years his last been Stoke last October.
Hell be missed......

Sad news. I didn't know Peter personally, but bought from him many times over the years and he was always a gentleman.

One of the first dealers I bought from in the early 1980s so I would have only been about 14- from memory wasn't he a very tall fella?

Yes, I go back a long way with Peter too. Always fair and speedy service etc.

Met him several times over the years and always looked forward to seeing him. Dealt with him many times, always a gentleman, always fair and good company.

Always used to love meeting up with him, always great footie banter

Can I echo what others have said re the sad news of Peter's passing away. Always interested in how your side were doing when speaking at a fair or on the phone.

i used to get his bargain bundles back in the mid-80s and a regular on the programme fairs circuit
