Apologies,, not a poster , but this is a photo copy of a biscuit tin that l once owned.. Probably would have made a lovely poster. The colour versions looked great, the vibrant green grass of the cricket pitch and all that..Don’t think we can open up a separate thread for biscuit tins! There’s a photo copy of the football one somewhere .l think they were pre-war. The tins were sold at some auction , but can’t remember what they went for. Don’t think it was much..

Yes not a poster but exceptional items can always be made to show quality for sure.
Huntley & Palmer the Biscuit makers from Reading used to produce Biscuit Tins I think that had football connotations for the FA Cup. Today if anything like that turned up the prices would be sky high as football memorabilia and especially niche items are what a good number of collectors are looking for.

Perhaps one of you can highlight with images the Huntly & Palmer football biscuit tin story with images.

This is a nice one. The artwork is great. I sold the biscuit tins probably over twenty years ago. As l said, they didn’t go for much. Can’t find the photo copy l had of the lid. Will have a search.. l think one of the teams were in the Arsenal colours. Vintage bagatelles would be interesting .
