Evening All,

Now that the Euro's has passed and Tramlines is over (local Sheffield festival) we can confirm that the first post covid Retro Football Fair will be held in Sheffield - details below:

Venue: Trafalgar Warehouse
Date: 21-8-2021
City: Sheffield
Entry:[b] FREE
Duration:10:30-17:00

Our last event 18 months back was held in Manchester was a huge success with over 1000 through the door and a number of diverse aspects of the football scene covered; we anticipate a similar response this time round.

At present we have 1 programme dealer and ideally would like 1 (maybe) 2 more to ensure this 'genre' is covered.

We realise a lot of programme folk tend to host fairs on a Sunday as opposed to the Saturday however with the anticipated foot fall we hope you'll check us out.

Interested? Comment below or drop me an email: [email protected]

Thanks for reading
Tom - circa88 football

I have a free saturday on that date so

1) I would be coming up from Bristol

2) Are you expecting more than four dealers to attend?

Apologies for the delayed response.

At present we have 2, ideally we'd have 3 but more than that is probably too many.

The main focus of the fair is to focus on the diverse aspect ensuring there's a decent balance of stalls that appeal to the 'casual' fan.

We'd love to welcome you to the fair; last time we had Lee from NWM football who enjoyed it and Gordon Bennett before he sadly passed away - both lovely chaps who gave us valuable feedback and were interested in attending more (before covid struck).

Really enjoyed it on saturday, as did my two lads.

It was very interesting,...... plenty of shirts and tracksuit tops for sale, boots and programmes. Arcade games, DJ and bar.

Sellers very approachable.

Met the organizer Tom....seemed a good lad.

Great way to enjoy the pre-game build up, lads bought a couple of shirts before we went to endure the agony at the Lane.

My only two downsides was I didn't give ourselves long enough and the price of my Pale Ale at the Bar.

Apart from that......enjoyed the concept and will definitely go and make a day of it when the next one is held.

Excellent, having attended the Manchester one in October 2019 I'm not surprised it went well. And yes, Tom is a top bloke, was so helpful at the previous event.

Would, of course, be ideal for future ones to take place on International Saturdays as that one did, would LOVE to able to get to another. I note that there is a choice of THREE programme fairs (Blackpool, Wolverhampton, Northampton) on Sunday 14th November over the International weekend - if one were to be arranged somewhere on Sat 13th I'd VERY much fancy it and make a 'double header' over the weekend !
