Is This George Murphy Of Bradford City?

I think that this is a photo of George Murphy , who spent most of his career at Bradford City 1934-47. He also made two wartime appearances for Wales. Can anyone confirm if this is indeed George? Many thanks.

Pretty sure it's not George "Spud" Murphy. There are 2 photos of him in the book "Wool City Rivals" and in both, Spud has a centre parting. Not a great picture taken from the book but clear enough, I reckon. So what does it say on the back?
