A tall, stylish defender taken from us far too young (65) after a long battle with a horrible disease. Had good spells at Leyton Orient, where he started his long career, then QPR and then Newcastle where he played about 200 games, turning out over 560 times in all before retiring and getting into management, firstly at Watford.

RIP Glenn, you will be missed everywhere
