There have been some beautiful tickets printed for England away games all the Italian tickets from 48,52,61,73,76 & 97 make a nice set, 1939 as well although I don't have that one.
Yugoslavia in 54 & 58
Holland in 64 & 69
Malta in 71 is a favorite.
Its a pity England tickets didn't have a bit of artistic license to be a little more colourful, larger with differing background scenes and the match details printed boldly on top.
Still the home tickets are thick in comparison and survive the years in good nick to near mint condition from the mid sixties backwards and are easily obtainable.
Although a shout out to the 1930's & 40's stubs for design were about as good as it got.
All in my opinion I am sure others will have their favorites for different reasons

I agree, ticket design can be very appealing. Check out the work of Jules Akel, who designed tickets for the MCC matches at Lords for a few years. They're all here https://akel.co.uk/work/books/crickettickets.html

I am sure that others will have done the same with some of their old tickets stick them in an old picture frame and put them on the wall.
Many years back I remember going into clothes shop at the check out was a glass covered counter underneath the glass was covers of loads of programmes from differing clubs spent ages looking at covers.
I thought of doing the same with a glass topped coffee table, though never did.

Here's some of my Villa ones. The 70/71to 83/84 show all the tickets that I have and so so if you have any from that period, please feel free to drop me a line.
