Just recieved a rather random email from someone today asking about a Brian Clough signature in the programme. I don't know who it's from, but due to me being a good samaritan, I thought i would find out. Here's the email:
Hi,

We have in our possession a match programme from 1980.

Volume 13, Number 13.

Against: Ipswich Town

Date: 22nd November, 1980

In our programme we have an article about Brian Clough. The query we have is; has Brian signed the article before going to print, or has it been signed by him?

If you could help us out with this query I would be very grateful. (A cream cake is riding on the outcome)

Many Thanks

Anyone know anything about this?

Cheers

I've had a look in my spares as my 80/81 folder isn't overly easy to get to, but if it's a picture of Brian Clough, in a blue suit jacket, with grey trousers, stood on the pitch infront of a stand with red seats and 'FOREST' in white letters, with some text to the left of the picture of the great man, then the signature is printed.

The article is his own programme notes that appeared in every programme, and the programme itself I imagine would be no more than 50p - 75p in value as it's just a random league programme from the 1980/81 season
