Rosettes

Hi lads, just a quick question,
I've got a hundred or so rosettes from various clubs from the late 60s & early 70s that I bought for my lads when they were little. They're not for sale, but one of them reckons they're worth a quite a few quid these days. I said maybe 20p each. Anyone know if they have any value or not ? Have most first and secnd division clubs of the day, many scottish and some european clubs.

You could be pleasantly surprised by the value, although very few of them have any official links to their club. They were nearly all made by companies or individuals wanting to make a fast buck, and are very easy to make cheaply.
Dependant on the clubs they could fetch a few pounds each. They're excellent for displaying at Programme Fairs etc as they bring a bit of colour and novelty to stalls. Difficult to sell otherwise as people really need to see them.
Always look our for ex league clubs such as BPA, Southport etc, Internationals - especially from the 66 World Cup 66, and the big clubs of the time.

Hi auchinleck is spot on as usual. These would fetch anything from £1 to a few more depending on team and condition. 1966 world cup are collectable and also Man utd, individual player profiles and fa cup issues.
Sounds like an interesting collection.
