I am looking for a couple of programmes from this tournament when Blackpool took part in the 1980s.

The dates are

24 July 1984 and 21 July 1987.

The tournaments were held at the Olivebank Stadium in Musselburgh and they played for the John White Memorial Trophy.

Please drop me a PM if you have either of these for sale.

I have programmes from 1983, 1986 and 1988 (they didn't enter in 1985) and some information on opponents and scores, but if anyone has any records of games in this tournament I would love to hear from you.

I am surprised there were no responses on this in view of the number of Scottish collectors on here.

So I will give it another go.

Hi there.

Because of the many Scottish clubs that took part, these programmes are quite sought after by collectors of the various clubs.
It was not a high profile tournament and the print run was very small (the attendances were even smaller).
I had the complete run of progs, but moved them on a few years ago.
The best place to source them locally would be through Brian Jonhson at ALMONDVALE PROGRAMMES- (under his ODDS & SODS section).

Yes, I had seen that one but unfortunately it is one I have.

I think I actually paid a lot more than £15 for one of the ones I acquired a while ago.

If one serious collector from each of the number of different clubs involved were to bid, the prices on these could get very silly.
