should be a mad rush for the 40s programmes with the first one ending in the next 2 hours. Will be interesting to see final prices.
English club collectors should be thankful they don't have to worry about picking these up
Ironically most other Scottish club programmes are a lot harder to find than Hibs and Hearts |

Surprised at the price for Hibs v Celtic as it was the first post war issue. I know the under bidder and thought he would have gone higher than £361
Absolutely no idea who the winner was but would love to know his highest bid.
The under bidder for Hibs v Rangers was a different Hibs collector who must have been surprised that his £425 wasn't enough
Looks like a Rangers collector won both the 46/7s at Hibs and Hearts
£1500 plus for the seller for just the 4 programmes, not bad |

The prices have not surprised me because there are quite a few new Rangers collectors on ebay now and some experienced collectors have finally started using it.
Certainly John Flynn would have been in for the Hibs v Celtic one if he's not already got it, I wasn't watching that so I don't have a link but i'll ask him. |

£485 for Hibs v Rangers 47/8 and it is a Hibee that got it
Tynie, I think both newish big spending Hibs collectors have got the 48/9 v Hearts so it might not go mental. However the 47/8 might be a different animal altogether |

Just............I was maxed out.
A little bit more than what I would have valued it at in that condition, but not by too much, and not £400+ !!!!
I doubt I'll get near tomorrows offering, now one of the two post war derbies I need. _________________ https://www.flickr.com/photos/footballprogrammes/albums |

Well done. Some crazy prices! I actually got a couple of 48/9 as spares. File them away until the next batch of new collectors come along
I am still after one post war Hibs home, just never seen it for sale anywhere. |

Cheers. Wise move if you have the spare cash to pick them up and the price didn't go OTT.
I need the two 47-48 Hibs v Hearts issues now, the LC issue I did use to have but used it in a Scotland swap a number of years ago, right thing to do at the time but it still nibbles away at the back of the mind lol
