Believe it or not, in two weeks England are playing in a Major tournament.
By now newspapers are normally in a frenzy. "Fans" painting the house, fence , dog, red and white. TV hysterical about England winning.
This year? Total Apathy. I think it's great. Might even win the bloody thing Laughing

Yes - let's hope that apathy from the press works!
Seems to be a lot of apathy from fans - lots of tickets sent back for England games - the financial climate probably isn't helping either though.

Even though the team is average, I just have a feeling we might do quite well in this one.

I went to all 8 qualifiers - home and away - but i'm not doing this. The flights aren't too bad, the tickets are fairly reasonable, and I really enjoyed Ukraine in 2009 - the cost of living over their is very cheap.

The main sticking point is the accomodation. I'm not paying £20 just to pitch a tent in a field in the middle of nowhere, and I can't afford to spend £200 on a basic hotel for one night.
