Just a note to let those people know who were interested that I still plan to put the site live by the end of the month. I've been trying to do some sort of help section with videos on how to use the auction.

My efforts, and I'm not that proud of them, can be found at the link below and I'll link them with the auction site soon I hope.

http://www.kickoff3pm.co.uk/support/

Any feedback would be appropriated, but perhaps this forum is not the right place as it may not be right.

So as to not incur the roth of owners of other forums I have now setup a forum for posting auction questions on kickoff3pm.co.uk;

Well I've just completed the 9th video showing how to use the football auction site kickoff3pm.co.uk - not saying they are perfect but it should be enough to get people though. You'll be pleased to know I've spared you the torture of my brummie voice and handsome features Smile Site will be offline some part of tomorrow and then open for live business 1st March as promised. Now it's up to you lot I suppose.

Thanks, the have been a fair few who have said similar. Not under any illusions but I'll also do my best on the marketing side without selling the house.

On that subject if anyone wants to promote their listings via google adwords. I can provide vouchers for new accounts to give £50-£75 free advertising and I'll be happy to setup the adverts for you. The only cost would be £5 registration at Adwords.

I'll be doing a number of adverts, and placing banners on all my football sites. One of which should feature on Family And Friends Web site soon so I'm hoping that will push some people in.

If anyone want banners custom for their club for their site let me know I'm happy to design them and show them how to link etc.

Lets give a good go for the rest of the year shell we.

Just poking around the intro page I love the concept. I'll be back to have another look in the next few days. Good luck with it Clap

Well I think most that needs to be done has been done, bit of a bugger really doing the videos I used a template I thought I would go with but in the end it's got to many things wrong with it. So those people visiting again will see a new look. I've put the old look as an option so you can decide which one you use. The issues with the other will be ironed out over time.

Big thanks for all your support.

This isn't meant as a criticism, but the intro really needs proof reading and correcting urgently, it makes the site look unprofessional. I know there maybe personal reasons for this, but this is some vital advice in my opinion

Goodluck with the site, if any Grantham appear that I need, I will certainly be using the site

I just stopped for a sandwich but before that I was doing the front page so perhaps it's hunger. I could do with a proof reader it's true. I'll take a look soon.

No problem pointing those things out thanks for taking the time.

So far I have 15 listed.
Many more to come.
I must say it is so much easier to use than eBay.
Have you thought about approaching Programme Monthly and getting some free advertising, I think they'll jump at the chance for a unique article too!

I contacted them when they took over but they never came back to me, although my email address was sucked up for the newsletters I've noticed Smile

If they want to do an article I won't object it's a good idea and has many angles. I'm happy with a steady start to the auction and with luck it'll build till most people know about it.

It is very easy to list but have you filled in your pre-filled fields and postage setting ? if you do that and most things stay the same you only really have fill title and upload an image.

The is a bulk uploader but to be honest I need to improve on that a lot.

I haven't used the pre filled method yet as I just click on sell similar and it's all there for me.
I see you are up to 370 listed so far.

Just a note to say that some of the buttons on your "ultra" skin don't work for me so I have to change to "kickoff3pm" skin.

The buttons thing might just be that the buttons are cached in your browser. Try emptying the cache and the cookies although I don't think the site uses cookies.

If you don't use ultra then you might miss some features. Also if I can't fix the problems with that other theme I might remove it, just can't find the time at the moment, work backe up now for months.

Listed my first item, just to see how it works.

I'm impressed.

I got a few more items I'm going to list, need to get the camera out though.

Good concept I hope you get the traffic.

If people continue to talk about the site traffic won't be a problem. Word of mouth is the most powerful marketing the is.
