North Eastern / North Regional / Wearside League

Are there any historians / afficionados for the above leagues, which were based in the North East of the country.

Trying to put together a database of Middlesbrough games in these league, especially the Wearside League 47-55 and North Eastern League 59/60.

Any help on dates would be greatly appreciated.

Also if you have knowledge of any reserve programmes / teamsheets being produced for pre 1990 Boro games please let me know.

Bob Barton and the guy called Amos might be your best bets to start with, both noted non league historians...Amos especially so in the north east. Did he not write Soccer coalfields or something like that a wee while back?

Cheers John. Are you thinking of Northern Goalfields, which in effect is a history of the Northern League or is there a another book kicking around that I'm not aware of?
