How would you know if you've been outbid by someone on here? I thought they had hidden who the other bidders are on the items now?

Well probably - no disrespect - no other Carlisle fans on here. But, to try to answer your question seriously I know I'm going to get outbid by Blueboybaz so there's no point in trying to outmanoeuvre him - I'd rather he just told me and we'd both save a bit of money. If you and another Utd fan are after the same one maybe you could do the same!

CarlisleUtdMem - unfortunately due to the way eBay has changed recently we won't know if anyone from here is bidding for the same item as ourselves as you have rightly pointed out the names are now hidden. The only thing we can see is who eventually won the auction.

ToffeeDan - I always, always get outbid by Blueboybaz on eBay. 90% of the programmes I get outbid on are by him. I don't think he bids on programmes for his collection either though. He seems to buy alot of the same stuff. I think he may be a dealer as he wins alot of auctions for rare programmes like our early European aways.

Oh and my name on eBay is mark_efc

Well I'd suggest you communicate with me if there's something you're after and avoid one of us, potentially wasting more money than we should just to be the winner. I've got a bit mean lately on items I might have wanted and just don't bother if it gets beyond a certain price - I've become fairly ambivalent about winning things at the moment. I know you collect Derby games and I've pretty much got them all at Goodison post 1950.

I think you are right about BBB, sometimes I see he's won something I'm sure he's already got.

If I see things that might interest you on eBay Dan I'll always pm you. Most of the Everton programmes I bid on are European aways and merseyside derby programmes from pre 1950 as after this date I have every single one we have played in. About 120 odd in total I think!

I must be one of the lucky ones, I seem to be the only person on e-bay who bids on Wycombe programmes from the 70s/80s regularly. The only time I get any real competition is when i bid on a programme from the 50s and sometimes 60s. I guess following one of the smaller clubs and collecting their programmes does have it's advantages.

It's a nightmare when it comes to city and wales stuff...anything rare with wales always gets top whack...unfortunately for the city now we have become a "bigger" club then say we were in the late 80s/early 90s the rare stuff always demands a high price.

I know of atleast 15 people who buy city on the bay and majority have nearly the same wants list as me.
