Following the release today of the new Links exchange, Programme Fairs Calendars and most importantly the "Wants Lists", what do you think we could develop next to benefit our members

Any other suggestions for developments that you care to come up with will be fully considered and discussed between anyone who wants to contribute. Then after a consultation period i will run a vote to see which features you want next.

Thanks all for your continued support and use of this website.

Could there possibly be a way to create a template for when you are creating wants lists . Such as if I wanted to add 19 wants from 1946-47 season I could have the template hometeam-chelsea, comp-league and season -1946-47 . So all I have to do is add in the away teams.

Also, on the Wants List, can we have the option of ordering by home team, away team, comp or season?

Hi Dellboye, I can see you've already added in a fair few programmes. Hope it went okay.

You will now see a "Remember" section. If you tick the boxes in there, your selections will be duplicated for the next page too.

So if you selected;

Home : Chelsea
Away : Cardiff
Season : 1956
Competition : League

Then if underneath you ticked to remember "Home", "Season", "Competition", these fields would be preset to Chelsea, 1956, League when you go to add your next programme so you just need to add in the Away team manually.

Another tip is if you have clicked into the dropdowns and start typing the word team you wish to find, it jumps down automatically.

Its now much easier to add programmes and is a very good feature.

Although there are 2 chelsea's in the dropdown menu Shocked

The drop down menus make it a lot easier but!
The only problem I find is that you cant add a team that isn't included. Rovers have played some very odd teams over the years, and though I think it unlikly that anyone will have a spare, I would like to be able to add them none the less.

Cheers Jamie.

You can now sort your wants list by Home, Away, Competition or Season in ascending or descending order. Any other requests?

What I mean is when you are searching through the drop down menu there is a lot of non league/foreign teams to scroll through. What I was asking for was whether there could be a filter to filter out the non league/foreign teams .

Thanks Dellboye,

Good idea and its now been implemented.

Please if anyone else has feedback to the system please let me know.

Over 1000 programmes have been added now and so far no complaints or issues so im hoping its all bug free which is great as we can then start to develop new sections on the site also Smile

You have to click on the persons individual wants list, which can be found underneath the posts they make.

Once the Sales function is up and running the system will automatically check for you mate.

You will be able to log down every programme you have for sale so when someone adds a programme to their wants list the system will then notify the seller and buyer that their is a match!

At least that's how I think it will work! Laughing
