Free listings time again over on ebay this weekend.

Normally about 80,000 programmes on there but it shoots up to 160,000 on free listing weekends so be on the look out for your wants going cheap.

Also if your selling, last month i sold about 10% of the items i placed on there - mostly at 99p which must be your minimum bid.

Cheers!

Craig,

Many thanks.

Did you use the Turbo lister last time?

I am going to give it a go this weekend!

Yes Paul,

I used Turbo Lister - it means you can create templates and just drop your info in and also you can start loading your products into Turbo Lister now and then set them live on the weekend when the free listing is on.

One piece of advice though which threw me off track last time is that when you upload all the products turbo lister tells you your fees are £x.xx - this is just a bug and if you check your ebay account you will see that your not actually due to be charged.

I sold a few last time, but saved all the templates in Turbo Lister, so they'll all be going back on on Saturday. Great news Smile

I took 3 days last time to get over 200 listed and sold nearly 100 but have only just deleted everything off turbo lister as I wasn't planning to list on there again. Going to start tomorrow see how many I get done by saturday and sunday.

Had a lot of problems with turbo lister when it was upgraded a couple of months ago. Now use Auctiva (auctiva.com) which I find a lot better.

I put 150 items on and so far have got a few with bids on and a few being watched Laughing so I am quite pleased with the progress.

Would be pleased to get 10% away.

The only problem with them is that everyone obviously lists all their programmes at the same time, so prices will generally be lower. They're great if you're just looking to get rid of spares though.

How did we all get on this weekend? I got around 10% away which I was pleased with. Not a lot of profit, but I am looking just to clear at the moment.

Managed to shift 9 of the 100 I put on on the Saturday, and got one bid on the 22 that are left there. Not great but they're just sitting there doing nothing at the moment so that'll do nicely.

Shifted 40 on the first 400 and have another 50 on the 800 that finish tonight. Bearing in mind all are non league I'm more than happy with that.

I can understand people wanting to get rid of unwanted programmes, and make money into the bargain. The down side for buyers is that page after page is full of pap. I either switch it off when I get to these multiple listings, or scroll down to the nearest page that doesn't have them on, normally jumping at least 5 pages at a time.
Am I alone in this?

No you're not,I agree with you. But when I first started out, I remember buyibg on these free listing weekends, and being like a kid in a sweet shop!!There were thousands of programmes at knock down prices, with hardly anyone bidding. I think its great for the collector who is new to collecting and looking to pick up some bargains.

I picked up three of my needs during this week, all at 99p, which was paid for by some of my sales, so really it has just worked as am exchange.

I do wade through, but it does take a while.

Still got 300 on all ending within the next hour or so. Ive sold 87 out of 1800. I was expeting about 100 so im happy enough with that. I expect ill creap up over 90 in all.

A question though for the people who had a better rate of sales than my 5%, did you bother using pictures etc?
