uefa cup run from the 1977/78 season and 1978/79 season - the away games. Seen the barcelona one for £145 and las palmas for £125...is that right or can i get cheaper?

It's a difficult one Josh. I don't know whether the prices are "correct" or not, because there's no such thing as a definitive price in programme buying / selling any more. The internet and ebay has made many programmes that were once inaccessible now fairly commonplace.
I bought a programme collection last year, and when I went around to the house to pay for them I was offered a few more that had been found, including Keflavik vs Hibernian in the UEFA Cup (73-4 if I remember correctly) I realised straight away that I'd never seen this programme before, and the likelihood of there being a lot of Hibs fans out there in the days before cheap flights was minimal. I upped the amount I'd originally offered, quite significantly, and toddled off home to do some research. To my unbridled joy it was listed as a "non issue" on the main Hibernian programme site, so I knew I'd done well.
To cut a long story short I eventually sold this programme for the total amount that I'd bought the whole collection for. I know if I'd kept hold of it for a while longer I'd have got more money for it, but I'd got a great deal and was more than happy.
A programme is therefore worth whatever anyone is prepared to pay for it...there's no "is this right" price, it's up to the potential buyer. What I would say though is that the person who advised you is a full time dealer, and the acknowledged Ipswich specialist. He's therefore more likely to get hold of such rare issues than most folk. When you look at what prices are charged you would also need to take into account that some folk make their living doing this, not just selling a few programmes as they crop up on ebay each month. There's therefore going to be a premium on some programmes whenever they crop up, and understandably so.
Best of luck with your pursuit of said programmes.....
