In the section Liverpool Programmes Season 62/63, Bolton v Liverpool 23/2/63 is competitively priced at £24.99.
It was a postponed match with a new programme issued on the rearranged date in May.The last one sold for around double that on ebay.

On the other hand £2,500 for a friendly tournament issue Bolton played in Paris in 1958 is roughly £2,475 more than I paid in an ebay auction.

Leaving aside the crazy prices it's impossible to take seriously a dealer who gets the basic descriptions of their programmes so wrong. Man City v Luton FA Cup 3rd round from Jan 1969 is advertised as "League Cup", a City v Arsenal league match from 1991 is also billed as a League Cup tie and those were just errors I spotted on a quick browse. There must be some real mugs out there if he's actually making sales at those prices.

To be honest the dealer has put silly prices for some and what he thinks are silly prices for other which turn out to be bargains...

The dealer also does not complete transactions, a prime example is a yugoslavia v wales 76 programme that me and another member of this forum went for at £14.99.

Neither of us got it then it reappeared at £400 or what ever it is listed at

Shocking !!

Here is a link. But don't buy from this person he can not be trusted. Google 'Stephen Cleeve' if you want to find out more. Many serious collectors will back me up.

Good one Tommy,

Never trust a man who has more oil on his hair than a BP Refinery.

He's quite unique, thrown out as a parliamentary candidate for being untrustworthy...... Confused

Now he's claiming he's interested in buying Wrexham FC...

Sounds like a top bloke, (well, Ken Bates banned him)..... Laughing

Hi All

I emailed this dick a while ago, offering a business deal strictly tongue in cheek.... I had a few fulham 60s programmes which he was pricing up at something daft like £19.99 each. I told him he could buy mine from me for £6 each so everyone is happy especially him as he would make nearly £14 on each. Needless to say the prick turned me down, I just could not believe it doesn't he realise a gift horse was staring him straight in the face.

Good stuff

It is his justification in the narrative for the rarity of the item that creases me. Someone from Russia has just listed the same item with a starting price of £1.00. Ebay item 181645803728.
