I am new member on this forum, also collecting ticket for some 15 years, and the main reason for registration here is to meet new collectors.
Also, I want to offer (buy/sell or exchange) old ticket Red Star Belgrade vs. Manchester United 1958. Ticket is original and in good condition. Anybody who is interested, may contact me on pm.

I saw this comment of member surfinjim in topic "SK Jugoslavia-Chelsea 1939".
I will tell you on what he meant - some other member named poprstick open topic in which he offers ticket SK Jugoslavia-Chelsea from period before World War II. He wanted to say that member poprstick offer false ticket.
Obviosly, he had some bad experience in past......

No bad experience at all, just that we have seen this type of thing in the past with no concrete evidence to support what is on sale.

If it's genuine, let's see some photo evidence of it.

It's a public forum, so don't send me snidey pm's telling me to keep my comments to myself.

I find it kind of unusual that the 2 most recent posts for tickets from Yugoslavia are posted by a guy called Vladan and then I get a PM from jb0412979 who signs off his Pm as Vlada

Let's see your evidence if it's genuine!

Yes, I send to you pm message because I think that it is not polite from you that you make comments and do not know anything about me, my items I offer.......I really do not who is Vladan, but my name is Vlada; Vladan and Vlada are two totally different names - like in english Jim and John, I hope you will understand this.
I must please you to tell me how you want that I prove to you that mine ticket is 100% genuine - I can send to you pictures of this ticket to mail.
I am new on this forum and do not know if I can upload a picture of ticket - if this is possible please tell me how and I will do this.

Whilst i know everyone is on edge following the whole palaver a few months back both jb0412979 and poprstick gave full addresses and telephone numbers when signing up for the forum. Most people just select the option that they dont wish to supply this information but both of these did - they have different ips to each other and neither have made posts under any other username than their own.

Both of their addresses check out as proper addresses and i can find places on the internet where jb has posted his address elsewhere in a football related message and i can also find a lot of messages with regards to poprstick buying and selling tickets on other messageboards aswell.

Whilst it always is good to be vigilant, there are a lot of people from the eastern bloc countries who are very into programme and ticket collecting so i dont think we need to tar them all with the same brush as you could just as easily get ripped off by someone in the UK as abroad.

Thanks Craig for helping me, I think that surfinjim will have more trust now. I understand, like you said, that people must be vigilant. Also, I understand that people from UK have some level of distrust in collectors from eastern countries.
I do not want to wrangle anymore about this. I think that more important is nature of this topic - old and rare ticket that I offer.
I hope that I will someone who is interesting to talk about that.

Now what really concerns me is that following on Mr Gas' post I checked my email inbox. Just remember it isn't listed in my profile.

Low and behold I have to emails from our Serbian friend which say they are ticket scans with attachments.

I haven't asked for these, tickets aren't my thing, so how has our friend obtained my email address.

Answers on a postcard please, no emails!

It may still be possible to recover data from the memory stick by using data retrieval software.

Don't use the memory stick until you can install the software on your PC.

If it souds way too complicated maybe take the memory stick to a professional.

For anybody else out there - external hard drives are really cheap now and handy for backups. You can get computer viruses from anywhere not just Eastern Europe. I reckon this is most likely an accident.
