The date on the above has been put back a week to 17th November 2010. So it doesn't clash with the Graham Budd auction.

Tim Davidson used to work for Vennett-Smith and as far as I know what happened was Trevor Vennett-Smith was getting on in years so they decided to split the business up. Tim Davidson took on selling the trade cards and sports memorabilia (Except Cricket) and Vennet-Smith now does the cricket side of things.

My agent successfully bid for one of the Barnsley 23/4 ex bound volume homes. Unfortunately these ex BV programmes didn’t have their outer covers, which wasn’t an uncommon thing to do when binding. It is likely that the Barnsley 23/4 outer covers were pre printed for the season. So I’m after preferably an original outer cover from that season or failing that if anybody has an original a good repro would suffice for the time being.

Not only my agent but my cook, nurse, best friend and wife all rolled into one. Incredibly not only have I seen my wife chatting with Dick Rattray she is now bidding for me at auction. !SORTED! Thumbs Up
